These roles are ideal for nurses with strong oncology clinical skills, chemotherapy competence, and a passion for cancer care nursing. Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality oncology nursing care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Administer chemotherapy, systemic anti-cancer therapies (SACT), and IV medications in line with oncology protocols.
Support patients through the cancer treatment journey, offering education, symptom management, and emotional support.
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary oncology team (MDT).
Conduct clinical assessments, monitor treatment responses, and manage side effects.
Act as a specialist resource in oncology care (Liaison and CNS roles).
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to oncology safety standards.
Requirements
Registered Nurse (RGN/RN) with NMBI PIN, or eligible for NMBI registration.
1–2+ years of oncology nursing experience in hospital or specialist cancer services.
Experience in chemotherapy administration, oncology day services, or inpatient oncology wards preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
For CNS roles: advanced oncology experience and postgraduate qualifications desirable.
