CPL Healthcare is recruiting a Deputy Manager on behalf of a reputable and well-established children’s service provider expanding from the Midlands into County Tipperary (Two Mile Borris). As part of this expansion, new under 12's children’s residential services are opening, creating an excellent opportunity for an experienced Social Care Worker/Leader ready to step into management.
This role is ideal for someone who is ambitious, motivated, and looking to progress their career into a management position within children’s residential services.
The Role
As Deputy Social Care Manager, you will support the Social Care Manager in the day-to-day running of the residential service, while gaining valuable leadership and management experience in a supportive environment.
Key Duties
Support the management of the daily operation of the residential service
Act as a role model for best practice in child-centred and trauma-informed care
Supervise and support staff, including shift leadership when required
Assist with care planning, safeguarding, and risk management processes
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards and organisational policies
Requirements
Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience
Level 8 qualification in Social Care or related discipline
Experience working in a children’s residential setting
Strong communication and leadership potential
Knowledge of HIQA standards and child protection practice
