Solutions Architect - Dublin 1 (BBBH2732) Dublin City Centre, Republic of Ireland
Overview of Role
Our client is looking for a skilled Solutions Architect to support the Head of Enterprise Architecture in developing and maintaining the organisation's enterprise architecture model to align with current and future business requirements.
This includes:
* Delivering technology infrastructure and services that empower Senior IT Management to make informed technology decisions while ensuring cost-effective, long-term solutions.
* Providing robust application and technology infrastructure that supports business operations and maintains a strong focus on quality.
* Enhancing capacity and offering additional support to ensure the successful delivery of the function's objectives.
Contract Details:
This role will be for three months initially with option to extend up to one year. The position requires Monday to Friday work, with a hybrid attendance pattern applying, with a current minimum of 50% based in Dublin 1 Head office. You must be available to start on the 20th of January 2025.
Role & Responsibilities:
* Delivery of Strategic Enterprise Architecture artefacts (e.g. road-maps, investigations, architecture models & standards & business focused presentations as required)
* Drive the uplift of process maturity within the EA function
* Enhancing the capability of the team practices
* Lead/participate on key EA strategic and transformation activity and engagement (e.g. transformation and Cloud)
* Develop and maintain an Enterprise Architecture that is aligned to the overall IMTD and business strategy to provide effective technology solutions that support the business in a cost-effective and secure manner.
* Design and implement cloud architectural practices (i.e. standards & guidelines) and processes (i.e. governance and controls), policies and procedures.
* Provide relevant skills transfer, coaching and mentoring to team members
* Ensure that the EA teamwork is conducted to the appropriate level of quality and within agreed timescales.
Key Qualification/Experience required:
* You should have a Diploma/Degree Qualification in IT, Engineering or other relevant fields
* It is a mandatory requirement that you have the equivalent of ten years in IT with at least five years in solution and/or enterprise architecture
* Experience in at least one enterprise architecture methodology (e.g. TOGAF)
* Architecture experience in a similar business background (e.g. financial services, banking, etc.)
* Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills
* Excellent presentation skills including confidence working at all business levels
* Self-starter with the ability to show initiative and work without supervision
* Proficient and proven experience in the various Cloud delivery models; Cloud service providers; enterprise scale workload migrations; Cloud native and hybrid environments.
