HR Generalist – Part Time

Role Profile:
The HR Generalist plays a pivotal role in supporting the overall Human Resources function. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees and management, fostering a positive and productive work environment aligned with the company's strategic goals and values. The HR Generalist will be involved in all aspects of the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance management, and compliance, with a strong focus on proactive HR services and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process. Partner with business managers to effectively and efficiently source and retain high quality talent through recruitment best practice
Coordinate and facilitate new employee onboarding, ensuring a smooth and welcoming integration into the company.
Customer Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and general HR concerns.
Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on a range of HR issues
Proactively work with business managers to support the delivery of the business, HR and site strategies with proactive HR services across the full employee lifecycle
Promote a positive and inclusive work culture.
Together with key stakeholders, identify training needs, develop & implement appropriate learning interventions to enhance the capability of the teams and manage the associated training plans, LMS and training records in line with our training processes and protocols.
HR Administration & Compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, within the HR Information System (HRIS).
Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Prepare and analyse HR reports and metrics to identify trends and inform decision-making.
Handle leave administration (e.g., maternity leave, sick leave).
Active management of payroll including the preparation of weekly and monthly payroll and responding to payroll queries from Payroll department and employees
Working with the HR team and IT, drive and implement improvement initiatives to ensure efficiency within the HR Team.
Participate in, lead and support the delivery of various HR and organisational change initiatives and projects as required and assist in the execution of our HR strategy and roadmap with a strong continuous improvement focus on HR processes

Requirements:
A minimum 3rd level qualification in Human Resources.
2+ years' experience in a similar or suitably adjacent HR role.
Proficiency in HR Information Systems.
Ability to work in a dynamic, nimble, entrepreneurial, and fast-moving environment.
Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work on own initiative and demonstrated ability to obtain results through teamwork.
Clear communicator – ability to write clear, concise documents and reports.
Excellent working knowledge across all areas of HR and Irish employment legislation.
Results-orientated with a proven record of achievement.
Must be able to exercise good judgment and effectively problem-solve.
A positive, can-do, resilient, and flexible attitude with a strong collaborative mindset.
High level of self-awareness.
Excellent administration, organisation, and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet challenging deadlines.
