Job Title: IT Governance and Compliance Professional
A renowned global accountancy firm is seeking an experienced IT Audit Senior to join their team in Dublin. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with clients to assess and improve their information systems and controls, ensuring the reliability of their data and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct information system audits to assess IT risks and controls, including general and automated controls environment as part of advisory engagements
- Ensure that controls relating to major systems and their implementations are operating to optimal effect
- Assure stakeholders of information reliability through IT risk assessment, benchmarking and due diligence
- Advise on conversion issues and project management risks and controls for system implementation and conversion
- Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources effectively
- Develop and manage engagement and project plans to maintain profitability
- Prepare deliverables based on findings from fieldwork conducted
- Foster a network of client contacts and maintain regular relationships with them for business development purposes
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working within audit as an External Auditor, IT Auditor or IT Risk & Security with Financial Services exposure
- Currently working at Senior level within an accountancy practice firm
- CISA/CIA/CA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent qualification
- Experience in data analytics for audit purposes; CAATs is highly desirable
