Join a
global leader in advanced semiconductor and connectivity technologies
, driving innovation that powers next-generation devices and intelligent systems across industries.
We are seeking an experienced
ASIC Design Engineer
to contribute to the development of cutting-edge system-on-chip (SoC) and IP solutions that deliver exceptional performance, energy efficiency, and scalability.
In this role, you will engage in the
definition, architecture, modeling, design, optimization, verification, and validation
of integrated circuits used in high-performance, low-power products.
You will collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to translate complex system requirements into robust hardware implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead or contribute to the
architecture, design, and verification
of digital and/or analog ASIC components, IP blocks, or SoCs.
Develop detailed circuit specifications, logic design structures, and simulations that align with system-level objectives.
Work closely with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, and program management) to define and execute implementation strategies.
Oversee design flows from
RTL to GDSII
, including synthesis, place & route, timing, and power optimization.
Utilize advanced design and verification tools (e.g.,
Virtuoso
,
Verilog/SystemVerilog
,
UVM
,
RTL
) to develop and integrate high-quality silicon solutions.
Document and review technical specifications, architecture descriptions, and design reports for internal and cross-team use.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, contributing to best practices and design reviews.
Qualifications and Experience
Degree in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science
, or a related technical discipline (Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD).
6–10+ years
of hands-on experience in
ASIC or SoC design, verification, validation, or integration
across multiple product cycles.
Strong background in
digital and/or analog circuit design
, including architecture definition, modeling, and implementation.
Proven expertise in
EDA tools
and
architecture/design environments
, covering RTL design, synthesis, place & route, and timing/power analysis.
Practical experience with
hardware description languages
such as
Verilog
,
VHDL
, or
SystemVerilog
, and
verification methodologies
like
UVM
.
Solid understanding of
system-level design concepts
,
low-power optimization
, and
high-performance data path design
.
Proficiency with
scripting and automation tools
(e.g., Python, Perl, Tcl) for design flow optimization and productivity improvement.
Ability to interpret complex system requirements and translate them into efficient, high-quality hardware implementations.
Familiarity with
industry-standard design flows
from RTL to GDSII and/or custom circuit design processes.
Excellent
technical documentation
and communication skills, including experience presenting to or collaborating with senior technical leadership.
Demonstrated leadership, mentorship, or technical guidance experience within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
