Overview
The Scholars Tutor Programme offers paid tutoring roles for Laidlaw Scholars to support children and young people, delivering English and Maths at primary level and Maths, Sciences, French and Geography at secondary level. Tutors will receive industry-leading training and qualifications from The Tutors' Association.
Responsibilities
* Provide online tuition to assigned students, following approved curricula and guidelines.
* Commit to the agreed minimum tutoring hours (e.g., 16 hours across March and April, with potential to continue beyond April).
* Engage with mentoring and support from experienced tutors/teachers.
* Attend required training and complete associated qualifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Current Laidlaw Scholar or Laidlaw Scholars Programme alumni (UK and Ireland applicants only).
* Ability to deliver online tuition in assigned subjects and levels.
* Commitment to a minimum tutoring period and to delivering high-quality tuition.
* Eligible to work in the UK and Ireland as applicable.
Compensation and Schedule
Earn an hourly rate of £15 for online tuition. The programme is structured around a defined tutoring window in March and April 2022, with the possibility of ongoing opportunities.

* Places are limited.
* The deadline for applications is 4pm on Monday 31 January. Applications must include a CV, a cover letter, and a completed application form. Applications without a cover letter will not be considered.
* This programme is currently open to Laidlaw Scholars studying in the UK and Ireland.
