We are seeking passionate, reliable, and person-centred Support Workers to empower adults with intellectual disabilities to take their rightful place in their community, achieve their personal goals, and build valued social roles.

You hold a full driving licence and are comfortable supporting people in various settings
Experience in ID is welcome, but heart, values, and willingness to learn matter most
What You'll Be Doing:
Supporting individuals to be active, visible, and valued members of their community
Assisting people to build friendships, learn new skills, and pursue meaningful interests
Helping with daily living, no two days are ever the same
Promoting self-determination, choice, and independence
Driving individuals to appointments, activities, and adventures
Supporting people to live their best life, whether that's joining a local club, finding a job, or simply enjoying life on their terms

Essential Criteria:
A QQI qualification e.g. Level 5 (Major Award/8 modules) in a relevant area e.g. health, community, care.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including good listening skills.
Flexibility and ability to respond to changing needs and situations.
Openness to providing supports across a variety of activities.
Commitment and dedication to enhancing the lives of people with an intellectual disability.
Ability to work as a member of a team.
In order to ensure a full and meaningful community engagement for the people supported, driving is an essential part of this role.
A full clean driver's license is essential for all permanent posts, candidates must hold a full drivers license or be in the process of obtaining a full drivers license.
