Community Centre Manager – Dublin, Ireland
Overall Purpose of the Job
As a Community Centre Manager you will oversee the daily operations of our Community Centre.
This role is key to ensuring the Centre is welcoming, well-managed, and meet the needs of our diverse local communities.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main point of contact for the Centre
Manage daily operations, staff, and community activities
Report to the Board on strategy, finances, and governance
Develop business and marketing plans to increase engagement
Build strong relationships with local groups, schools, and stakeholders
Oversee health and safety, including emergency procedures
Welcome customers, respond to enquiries, and manage bookings
Manage budgets, financial reporting, and funding applications
Support the coffee shop as a social enterprise
Recruit, train, and manage staff performance
Maintain building and equipment through planned maintenance
Participate in local networks and community projects
Ensure policies, procedures, and health and safety standards are followed
Qualifications and Experience
2+ years in a management role
Strong financial and budget management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work with a diverse community
IT skills and the ability to use digital tools
Knowledge of health and safety standards
Experience in the not-for-profit sector is a plus
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
Approachable, solution-focused, and calm under pressure
Honest, reliable, and flexible.
Working Pattern
Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5:30 PM.
