Role Purpose
As part of our continued growth, we’re looking for a Network Solutions Sales Specialist to help us win new customers and grow our networking footprint across Ireland’s SMB & Mid‑Market sector. This is a value‑based sales role, ideal for someone who enjoys opening doors, shaping solutions around real customer outcomes, and working closely with internal specialists to win and deliver great business.
Key Accountabilities
Winning new customers – identifying, qualifying and closing net new SMB & mid‑market logos with networking needs.
Expanding existing relationships – growing our network footprint within Vodafone mobile customers through land‑and‑expand opportunities.
Selling on value, not just products – leading customer discovery, understanding business challenges, and positioning networking solutions that deliver clear outcomes (performance, resilience, user experience, cost efficiency).
Shaping end‑to‑end solutions – across LAN/WAN/Wi‑Fi, switching & routing, SD‑WAN and managed network services.
Working as part of a wider team – partnering closely with account managers, solution architects, product, commercial, delivery and partners to win business together.
Managing your pipeline – building a healthy, high‑quality funnel, maintaining CRM discipline, and forecasting accurately.
Success Criteria
New customers choosing Vodafone for their networking needs.
Increased network penetration within the existing mobile base.
Strong, well‑qualified pipeline with consistent conversion.
Deals that are commercially sound, deliverable, and set customers up for long‑term success.
Qualifications
Experience selling B2B solutions in SMB or mid‑market environments.
Enjoys net new acquisition as well as growing existing accounts.
Comfortable selling complex solutions by translating technology into business value.
Brings energy, structure and curiosity to customer conversations.
Knows how to work cross‑functionally and bring the right people together to win.
Organised, commercially aware, and takes ownership of outcomes.
Networking experience is desirable but this is a generalist/outcomes‑led role – you don’t need to be the deepest technical expert, just confident enough to lead conversations and bring specialists in when needed.
