Our Client a leading supplier Packaging and Labelling Solutions to the Manufacturing Sector including Pharma and Medical Device are looking for a
Project Manager
to join their Team based in Mayo. Initially on a 12 month contract, this role has the potential to be extended or perhaps made permanent. Reporting to the Operations Lead for Ireland, the successful candidate will lead and deliver projects within scope and budget, plan, execute and monitor projects, ensuring alignment with organisational goals while managing stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the planning and execution of projects from initiation to closure.
* Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines and budgets.
* Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, Gantt charts and documentation.
* Manage relationships with external parties, vendors, contractors and suppliers.
* Co-ordinate and liaise with cross functional teams to ensure project success.
* Comply with health & safety regulations, and environmental and quality standards.
* Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
* Monitor project progress, track KPI's and report updates to stakeholders.
* Manage stakeholder communications and ensure alignment across teams.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Facilitate project meetings, workshops and progress reviews.
* Drive continuous improvement in project management practices.
* Minimise scope, time and cost creep, while delivering high quality results.
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role (ideally in Manufacturing)
* Strong leadership, organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management tools, e.g. MS Project, Jira, etc)
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

* Strong financial and budget management skills.
* Knowledge of risk management and change management principles.
* Willingness to travel between sites.
