The Cook will report to the Head Chef / Catering Manager and Director of Nursing. The Cook will ensure the highest standards of Food Safety and Hygiene are provided throughout Curam Care Home. Ensure policies and procedures in all aspects of hygiene are adhered to. Plan, direct, organise and manage the catering department Service throughout the care home. Responsible for the supervision, deployment, and recording attendance of the catering staff. The Assistant Cook will assess, plan, implement and evaluate Food Safety Principles to the highest professional standards and best practice.Also the cook must deputize for the Head Chef in their absence.RequirementsHACCP level 3.
