About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join a dynamic team delivering large-scale projects across multiple sectors, including residential, commercial, pharmaceutical, industrial, and educational. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional looking to advance their career in quantity surveying within a progressive construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Associate Director in managing all commercial aspects of projects
- Assist with procurement, appointment, and management of subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare accurate monthly progress accounts and valuations
- Monitor project costs, cashflow forecasting, and financial reporting
- Collaborate with project teams to identify and mitigate risks
- Participate in tender preparation when required
- Manage final accounts and subcontractor re-measurements
- Attend monthly cost reporting meetings and provide ad-hoc reports
Skills & Experience Required
- Level 8 degree in Quantity Surveying (essential)
- Minimum 3 years' experience with a main contractor or subcontractor
- Residential sector experience preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet deadlines
