Role Purpose
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth by generating, qualifying, and nurturing leads for our Account Directors. You will be the first point of contact for prospective clients, identifying their needs and creating opportunities for the sales team to close.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and research potential customers within target industries using online tools, market intelligence, and networking.
* Engage prospects via phone, email, and LinkedIn
* Schedule high-quality meetings and demos for Account Directors, ensuring a smooth handover process.
* Maintain accurate records of all interactions, leads, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
* Keep up to date with HR and payroll industry trends
* Work closely with Account Directors to refine lead generation strategies and messaging.
* Meet and exceed KPIs for outreach, qualified leads, and meetings booked.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* 1–2 years of sales, telemarketing, or lead generation experience (preferably B2B SaaS).
* Excellent communication and active listening skills.
* Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
* Resilience and persistence in a fast-paced sales environment.
* Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot, Outreach and Lusha).
