Ambius Landscaping Technician
Ambius, a leading provider of plants and scenting, is seeking an Interior Landscaping Technician to join our Dublin branch.
This role involves designing, installing, and maintaining interior and exterior plant displays for commercial clients.
As a Service Technician you will be responsible for:
Visiting customer sites on a regular basis as established by route plan
Safely driving a service vehicle in urban and rural settings
Providing plant care: watering, pruning, fertilising, trimming, removing debris, and gauging soil moisture accurately
Applying appropriate amounts of water based on lighting conditions and plant requirements
Communicating and maintaining appropriate light conditions and orientation
Ensuring that plants and display containers remain clean and free of dust and debris
Preventing plant diseases, insects, and damage to surrounding surfaces
Maintaining the appearance of top dressing and other ornamental elements
Working from ladders up to 6 ft to service tall plants and living wall systems
Protecting surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. from water and moisture
Qualifications:
Full Irish driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs
Ability to undertake physical tasks such as installing planters and hanging baskets
Comfortable with driving and working at heights
May be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for
Experience or interest in plants
Ability to use own initiative
