Job Description:
This is a challenging role that requires candidates with at least 1 year of laboratory experience in a GMP or regulated environment. The ideal candidate should be confident with laboratory procedures, equipment handling, and documentation practices. This position is suited for individuals who are comfortable working independently and following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
The QC/ARD Assistant will be responsible for supporting day-to-day lab activities, ensuring continuous workflow, and maintaining equipment readiness. They will also prepare and maintain SOPs, protocols, and reports, adhering to GDP and GMP standards. Additionally, they will assist in scheduling and logging of calibration and maintenance, coordinate with service providers when required, and maintain accurate records per SOP.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support day-to-day lab activities and ensure continuous workflow
• Maintain equipment readiness and ensure all materials are available
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, protocols, and reports
• Adhere to GDP and GMP standards
• Escalate deviations or issues to relevant leads
• Assist in scheduling and logging of calibration and maintenance
• Coordinate with service providers when required
• Maintain accurate records per SOP
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a GMP or regulated lab environment
• Strong lab-based skillset and understanding of quality systems
• Science-related qualification (degree or diploma)
• Comfortable working independently and following SOPs
• Strong attention to detail, organisational, and documentation skills
