Job Title: Health and Safety Professional
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing health and safety policies, conducting risk assessments, and leading internal audits.
* Advising managers, supervisors, and employees on health and safety matters
* Conducting risk assessments, inspections, and investigations
* Leading internal audits and supporting external audit processes
* Developing and implementing H&S policies in line with legislation
* Delivering in-house training and coordinating external training sessions
* Preparing reports and maintaining accurate records
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:
* NEBOSH General Certificate
* Relevant training qualification
* 35 years experience in a similar role or strong demonstrable knowledge
* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
* Full driving license/access to transport
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility with working hours to meet business needs
* Desirable: Degree in a relevant discipline/Experience within the food industry
