JOB DESCRIPTION: OPERATIONS MANAGER | DATE: NOVEMBER 2025
Location: Corroy, Co. Mayo (5 minutes from Ballina) Employment: Full-time, On-site (Monday to Friday)
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee warehouse and fulfilment operations at our production facility in Corroy, Co. Mayo. The successful candidate will ensure efficient day-to-day logistics, accurate inventory control, timely dispatch, and a safe, well-organised warehouse environment. This role is hands-on and well-suited to someone who enjoys improving systems, processes, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
• Lead the daily operations of the warehouse, logistics, supply chain and order fulfilment.
• Develop, document and improve operational workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Work closely with Production and Quality teams to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal quality standards.
• Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and operational accuracy.
Digital Operations and Automation
• Implement and manage digital systems including ERP, e-commerce and inventory tools.
• Drive automation in order processing, stock control, reporting and communication workflows.
• Ensure smooth and accurate data flow between warehouse, production, e-commerce and finance systems.
Channel Support (B2B and B2C)
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to support product launches, demand planning and promotional activity.
• Manage service levels across wholesale customers, retailers and direct-to-consumer channels.
• Oversee customer service processes to ensure timely responses and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Analytics and Reporting
• Take ownership of key operational metrics, including fulfilment rate, order accuracy, lead times and cost per order.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement using real-time data.
• Prepare weekly and monthly operational reports and dashboards for senior leadership
Experience Required
* 2 to 4 years' experience in operations or supply chain roles, ideally within health, pharmaceutical, FMCG or e-commerce environments.
• Experience supporting both B2B and B2C operations.
• Experience supervising or coordinating small teams.
Skills and Attributes
* Strong knowledge of warehousing, logistics and inventory management.
• Proficiency with digital tools such as ERP and e-commerce platforms.
• Experience improving workflows and integrating or automating systems.
• Strong organisational and project management skills.
• Analytical, proactive and process-oriented.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, positive approach.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing organisation.
Desirable
* Experience in a regulated environment such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics or healthcare.
• Understanding of ISO, GMP or similar quality management systems.
• Familiarity with one or more ERP systems.
