Operations Manager - Retail & Supply Chain Location: North Dublin onsite The Role We're seeking a hands-on, commercially driven Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations across a busy warehouse, retail, and distribution environment. You'll be pivotal in streamlining supply chain functions, managing stock flow, driving performance across teams, and enabling sales targets through operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead procurement processes: supplier selection, price negotiation, and vendor performance. Forecast demand, manage stock levels, and reduce overstock or shortages. Build, coach and develop teams across warehouse, retail, and delivery functions. Implement KPIs and performance metrics linked to output, cost, and service quality. Drive continuous improvement and cost-efficiency across operations. Maintain financial control and manage operational budgets. Ensure compliance with safety, cleanliness, and operational policies. Respond to market trends and competitor activity to inform purchasing decisions. Collaborate cross-functionally with commercial, finance, and store management. Candidate Profile 2+ years in an operation, supply chain, or store management leadership role. Strong knowledge of inventory and warehouse processes. Background in DIY, building materials, trade retail, or construction is a big advantage. Experience working with ERP systems and excel for reporting and forecasting. Able to lead, coach and motivate teams under pressure. Confident negotiator with commercial acumen. Organised, hands-on, and comfortable in a dynamic, growing business.
