High-level financial expertise is required to support our organisation's diverse operations.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports
* Budgeting and forecasting processes analysis with variance identification
* Production of key performance indicators and performance reports highlighting risks and opportunities
* Assistance with statutory accounts, tax computations and government reporting
* Support for finance systems and process improvements
* Payroll oversight ensuring compliance and accuracy
* Provision of ad hoc analysis and insight to inform strategic decisions
* Full professional accountancy qualification e.g. CIMA desirable
* Proven experience working in a similar role within a fast-paced environment
* Previous experience in the leisure hospitality or tourism sector advantageous
* Demonstrable proficiency in accounting software packages e.g. Sage
* Advanced excel skills including pivot tables vlookups and financial modelling
* Strong analytical financial reporting and problem-solving skills
* Desirable experience with budget planning forecasting variance analysis and cash reporting
* Knowledge of payroll legislation statutory payments and auto-enrolment pensions desirable but not essential
