Overview
The project management team comprises experienced project managers, engineers, cost controllers, schedulers, and estimators working in collaboration with external partners. The project will be managed from front-end loading through commissioning, qualification, and handover, in coordination with our technology colleagues.
Responsibilities
* Lead the implementation of construction safety strategies across the project lifecycle, particularly the Behavior-Based Safety program 'Safe by Choice.'
* Review construction, commissioning, and quality HSE plans.
* Review project-specific work permits, Safe Plan of Action (SPA), Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and Task Risk Assessments (TRA).
* Support and advise the project manager on safety performance indicators.
* Coach and support EPCM safety professionals and contractors on safety practices and procedures.
* Implement safety incentive plans.
* Participate in EHSE checklist reviews and constructability reviews.
* Monitor safety statistics and initiate improvement plans as needed.
* Evaluate EPCM safety performance against the project plan and identify improvements.
* Establish relationships with the client and local GSE team, familiarizing with local safety procedures.
* Lead and support incident investigations.
Desired Skills & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
* Minimum of five years’ experience in a comparable environment (pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or food industry).
* Proven excellence in construction safety management across multiple assignments.
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development, manufacturing facilities, and plant operations is highly desirable.
* Subject Matter Expert in safety practices.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Fluent in English, both oral and written.
