We are working with a
global financial services organisation
on a critical programme focused on helping financial institutions combat
money laundering and financial crime
. This team builds high-impact, bespoke technology solutions that uncover underlying criminal behaviour and enable real-world action.
They are now seeking an experienced
Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
to join a highly skilled engineering team working across the full application lifecycle in a complex, high-transaction environment.
The Role
As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will:
* Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-scale applications end-to-end
* Build Java-based applications using
Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Microservices
, and
React
* Collaborate closely with Business Analysts and QA teams in an
Agile / BDD
environment
* Develop and consume
RESTful APIs
and web services
* Work with a variety of data storage technologies including
SQL, Hadoop, Snowflake, and MongoDB
* Contribute to cloud-based microservices architectures
Required Experience:
* Strong experience working on
large-scale, high-volume production systems
* Expert Java/J2EE development with deep knowledge of the
Spring Framework
* Full stack capability across
backend and UI layers
* Advanced front-end skills with
React, Angular, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
* Experience with
CI/CD pipelines
(e.g. Jenkins)
* Familiarity with
PCF or similar cloud platforms
* Experience with
code quality and coverage tools
such as Sonar
* Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
* Experience with
JBoss and/or WebSphere
* Knowledge of advanced authentication techniques for web platforms
* Ability to design middleware services connecting UI and backend systems
Nice to Have:
* Experience with
Apache NiFi
* Exposure to high-availability, high-performance transactional architectures
* Experience integrating third-party and open-source technologies
