Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving asset management and reliability through technical support of the maintenance function and optimisation of the site maintenance process.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on improving Equipment Reliability, Risk-Based Asset Management, and Cost Management. You will also be responsible for acting in a consultative fashion to assist with equipment issues, supporting both routine and waves of projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Developing engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.
* Maintaining the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program such as vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses, supporting the interpretation of the results.
* Analysing equipment history within the CMMS to assure effectiveness of all maintenance efforts, reducing regulatory concerns, both cGxP and EHS.
* Reducing and improving maintenance work, assuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process, and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets at optimal cost.
* Benchmarking other sites and industries for new emerging technologies and techniques.
* Implementing digital solutions and SMART maintenance.
* Coaching the planner and scheduler to ensure that the PM/PdM services meet key metrics such as schedule adherence, costs, resource utilisation and others.
* Complying with the current Quality and EHS Management System requirements of our Manufacturing Division, as relevant to the supporting operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Engineering degree qualification, preferably mechanical or electrical. Minimum 2 years of professional experience, preferably working in a similar role in an industrial environment or within a specialised consultancy. Ability to analyse and identify trends and patterns. CMMS knowledge is highly desirable. Analytics experience with maintenance data can be an advantage.
