Job Title: IT Support Specialist

Description:

Serve as the primary point of contact for IT-related incidents, service requests, and technical queries via various communication channels. Provide second-line support for hardware, software, operating systems, and applications, ensuring seamless functionality and optimal performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

Support secure access to critical business systems, trading platforms, and other financial applications, adhering to strict security protocols and regulatory requirements.

Perform user account management in Active Directory, Exchange, and other enterprise systems, ensuring accurate records and streamlined processes.

Evaluate unresolved issues and escalate them to appropriate technical teams according to established SLA guidelines.

Maintain precise records of all support requests, solutions, and escalation actions, facilitating continuous service improvement initiatives.

Assist with software installations, updates, and patch management, guaranteeing compatibility and stability across diverse systems.

Adhere to IT security and compliance standards, upholding relevant regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of best practices.

Collaborate with colleagues on incident response and disaster recovery activities when required, leveraging collective expertise and knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* 5-7 years of experience in an IT Service Desk or IT Support Engineer role, preferably in a financial services environment.
* Strong understanding of Azure, Microsoft Windows OS, Office 365, and Active Directory.
* Familiarity with ITIL principles and service management tools.
* Ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and networking issues effectively.
* Knowledge of security best practices in a regulated industry.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
* Bonus of up to 30% on top of base salary
