Our FS risk consulting team work with and support a range of financial institutions in banking, asset management, insurance, payment and e-money services.We are specifically interested in hearing from experienced Risk or Compliance professionals working in various FS sectors or another professional services firm who have previously held leadership roles and have an interest in a consulting role in Forvis Mazars. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 7 years’ experience.Working closely with the partner team, this leader will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of a range of assignments of a recurring and non-recurring nature in the following areas;FS compliance and risk management;Corporate governance and regulatory change;Regulatory investigations and internal audit; andInternal control frameworks.The leader must have a thirst for learning and development. Alongside, an ability to support the ongoing professional development of our team.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of clients, advise clients and lead client engagements to strengthen relationships, enhance reputation, and deliver measurable value.Lead end-to-end large-scale Risk Consulting, Remediation, Regulatory Change, Assurance initiatives or programmes of work, partnering with clients to shape and deliver value, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality risk consulting services.Understand complex client challenges and design tailored solutions, considering risk, structure, timelines, and cost.Drive performance against targets, ensuring outcomes align with client expectations and strategic goals.Identify and lead innovation opportunities, building business cases, mobilising teams, and delivering results.Contribute to future strategy through thought leadership, proposal development, and technical capability building.Lead and mentor junior team members, nurturing talent and fostering a diverse, inclusive team environment.QualificationsQualification in accountancy, internal audit or risk management (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, IIA, IoB, PRMIA)Solid understanding of risk and internal controlsExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience of operational supervision of assignments and managing of client relationshipsExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environmentStrong organisational and planning capabilitiesExperience of working to deadlines and delivering under pressureExperience in a professional services firmDon’t wait.
