Civil Engineer - Infrastructure Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as an Infrastructure Specialist. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for the design and development of civil engineering projects, including roads, drainage, water, and flood networks.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of engineering principles, particularly in the areas of drainage, water, roads, and traffic system design. They will also possess excellent IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and AutoCAD, as well as experience with company design software packages such as Linsig, Causeway Flow, TRICs, Tuflow, HEC-RAS, EPANet.
Our ideal candidate will have a solid background in compiling engineering planning documentation, producing Flood Risk Assessments, and preparing Traffic & Transportation Assessments and Mobility Management Plans. They will also have a strong ability to identify and apply appropriate scientific methods to solve engineering problems, as well as knowledge of the limitations of established best practice as defined by Standards and Codes.
In addition to their technical expertise, the successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, both oral and written, and have a thorough understanding of the Irish regulatory and policy issues. They will also have a commitment to Continued Professional Development (CPD) and competence, working towards chartership.

The successful candidate will have a honours degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' experience in a design office environment.
