The Role:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy furniture showroom. The ideal candidate will have a strong retail background, great attention to detail, and a genuine passion for home interiors and customer care.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily store operations and ensure smooth running of all departments
* Lead, motivate, and support a small team of sales and warehouse staff
* Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation
* Deliver excellent customer service and manage sales from enquiry to delivery
* Monitor sales targets, stock levels, and performance reporting
* Coordinate with the buying and logistics teams on ordering and deliveries
* Handle staff rostering, training, and performance management
* Ensure compliance with company policies and health & safety standards
Requirements:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in retail management, ideally in furniture, interiors, or homeware
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Proven ability to meet sales targets and improve store performance
* Computer literacy (POS systems, email, and stock management essential)
* Positive, hands-on attitude and strong team ethic
