Reporting to the Head of Depositary Operations, the role involves supervising a small team of depositary analysts while maintaining client-facing responsibilities, offering exposure to the broader funds industry and the chance to contribute meaningfully to the business\'s successThe Depositary Services team currently provides independent depositary services to Irish UCITS and Alternative Investment Funds (AIFs), covering traditional long-only funds, hedge strategies, private equity, and real assets.The PositionSupervising a small team of Depositary Senior Analysts & AnalystsReviewing key depositary tasks, including cash flow monitoring, investment and borrowing checks, and NAV oversightMonitoring compliance with regulatory and prospectus investment restrictionsProviding oversight of NAV calculations and Transfer Agency activities, including escalation to the relevant fund parties (Investment Manager/Administrator) as appropriateOverseeing the daily cash flow monitoring processLiaising with clients regarding the safekeeping of assets and verification of title of other assetsActing as second reviewer (checker) across a range of depositary tasks, ensuring they are completed to a high standardInvestigating, documenting, and escalating breaches, pricing issues, and other errors to Management and/or Administrator/IM and updating the regulatory / prospectus breach and error registersContributing to the ongoing enhancement and development of proceduresProviding support in planning and conducting onsite visits to Fund Administrators, AIFMs/UCITS Managers, and Prime Brokers/Custodians.Dealing promptly with ad hoc queries and projects relating to the fundsTraining and mentoring new team membersThe IndividualA College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience is preferred3+ years of experience within Depositary or wider fund services with a desire to progress and gain more responsibility.Demonstrate familiarity of experience with complex fund structures and AIFMDProactive, focused attitude towards work and an ability to plan and consistently meet deadlines.Client management and due diligence experience, highly desirableDemonstrate good written and oral communication, and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detailIf you believe you have suitable experience and are looking for the next step in your career, please apply now or email your CV
