The Role
Purpose of Role:
The role requires a strategic sales approach, bringing together multiple stakeholders and a focussed, disciplined approach. The successful candidate will be comfortable engaging up to and including board level, to position Viatel as an IT Comms & Solutions partner able to transform the prospective client's business.
The role requires a strong "hunting" aptitude and account management skills. Candidates should be self-starters that are willing and able to think on their feet and have a drive to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
* Promoting and selling the full capabilities of Enterprise Connectivity, Multi-Site SDWAN Solutions, Security, Cloud & Voice Services.
* Personally develop relationships with senior stakeholders in clients, partners and Viatel colleagues to build business opportunities in Enterprise sector accounts.
* Develop and maintain close working relationships with client executive level decision-makers and develop well-grounded account plans to maximise growth.
* Build and manage a well-qualified opportunity pipeline which is correctly reflected on our CRM system, in order to deliver accurate sales forecasting.
* Meet agreed Sales, Revenue and Gross Margin targets.
* Set out Quarterly forecasts and plans to reach and exceed forecasted revenue targets.
* Leverage Viatel's sales governance and opportunity qualification process to establish compelling, competitive customer proposals.
* Hunt for opportunities to interact with key decision makers to promote and sell Viatel products and services
Who we are looking for?
* Minimum of 5 years' experience selling Connectivity, Multi-Site SDWAN Solutions, Security, Cloud & Voice Services
* Demonstrable ability to be a key influencer at senior level
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client (C level decision maker) relationships
* Build and maintain key relationships at Mid-market level in Ireland
* Good level of IT awareness and understanding
* Strong commercial aptitude with experience and ability to negotiate complex deals successfully
* Ability to understand and articulate customer issues and requirements and match those needs to the design and provision of a compelling IT services proposition
* A proactive "go-getter" with experience of working independently as a self-starter
* Excellent presentation and writing skills
* Computer literate with good experience working with Microsoft Office suite
* Strong commercial and negotiation skills with a proven ability to influence others
* Strength in collaborative problem solving and issue-resolution.
* Extensive knowledge of sales principles and practices
* Experience in the use of CRM and pipeline management
* Full Driving Licence
