We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement team and drive strategic sourcing initiatives.
About the Role:
The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with business objectives, managing supplier relationships, and negotiating pricing and contracts. This role requires strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver procurement plans that meet business needs and goals
* Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating terms and conditions to secure best value
* Manage inventory levels, ensuring stock availability without overstocking
* Analyze market trends and data to inform pricing and margin decisions
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support sales and operational activities
* Administer purchasing processes, including orders, transfers, and invoicing
Requirements:
* Degree in Business, Economics, or related field
* Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing/procurement at management level
* Proven negotiation, supplier management, and commercial skills
* Strong analytical ability with a data-driven approach
* Excellent communication skills, with ability to engage stakeholders effectively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and ERP/purchasing systems
