Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join our team. As a key member of the finance department, you will play a vital role in managing US GAAP month-end and year-end close reporting for Research Centre Ireland.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS + US GAAP) and proven experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDE) for financial reporting and analysis.
About this Role
* Manage US GAAP month-end and year-end close reporting for Research Centre Ireland
* Oversee all aspects of General Ledger processing and validation
* Calculate and submit the annual R&D Tax Credit Claim
You will also collaborate on annual and quarterly budget cycles specifically related to R&D tax credits, ensure accurate submissions to Revenue Commissioners for expense reporting, support external audit processes for BD Ireland legal entities preparation of statutory accounts, maintain statutory compliance by liaising with external auditors.
