We are recruiting a Senior Contracts & Procurement Manager for our Dublin or Cork office. The role involves working within the construction contracts procurement team to develop and award construction contracts on fast-track projects.
Responsibilities:
* Sourcing and pre-qualification of contractors
* Preparation and issuance of tenders
* Commercial and technical evaluation of tenders
* Chairing clarification meetings
* Leading commercial negotiations
* Preparing recommendation reports for approval
* Updating procurement strategies and reports
* Preparation of contract documents
* Monitoring contractor performance and driving improvements
* Supporting contract management during construction
* Other duties as directed by the Procurement Department Manager
Qualifications:
* 20+ years of experience in large-scale EPCM projects globally
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or Engineering
* Deep knowledge of tendering and contract management
* Strong legal understanding of construction contracts
* Experience with main and bespoke contract forms
* Ability to evaluate bids and compile reports
* Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexible and capable of handling multiple requests
* Customer-focused team player
* Self-starter with initiative
* Proficient in Excel and Office software
