Role Description

As a Business Broker, your role will be to identify business owners who are ready to sell and match them with prospective buyers. You will be responsible for:

* Building relationships with small and medium-sized business owners and advising them on how to prepare their business for sale.
* Managing the entire sales process, including buyer qualification, negotiations, due diligence, and deal closure.
* Actively sourcing, qualifying, and engaging with buyers to ensure the right match for each business.
* Maintaining confidentiality and acting with professionalism throughout each transaction.
* Working collaboratively with colleagues to support marketing, lead generation, and client engagement.

You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, supported by marketing resources, administrative assistance, training, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

* Experience in business brokerage, commercial sales, real estate, banking, accountancy, financial advising, legal services, business development, or other relevant fields.
* Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a "farmer" mentality – nurturing leads and relationships over time.
* Proficiency with technology, including CRM systems, email, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
* Problem-solving ability and creative thinking.
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple ongoing transactions.
* High levels of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
* Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while maintaining a polished and trustworthy image.
