Key Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
Check guests in and out, issue keys and take reservations by telephone or email.
Prepare bills and deal with payments.
Provide guests with information, answer queries and deal with complaints.
Meet, greet and attend to the needs of guests to ensure a superb customer service experience.
Build good rapport with all guests, resolve issues quickly and report complaints to management.
Deal with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and pleasant stay.
Be responsible for accurate and efficient guest billing and billing procedures.
Assist in keeping the hotel reception area clean and tidy at all times.
Perform general office duties, including correspondence, emails and filing.
Ensure all reservations and cancellations are processed efficiently.
Report any maintenance, breakage or cleanliness problems to the relevant manager.
Required
Minimum 6 months in a receptionist role.
Experience in Opera beneficial but not essential.
Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner.
Good administrative skills and the ability to use email and booking systems.
Good team working skills.
A friendly and welcoming approach.
High standards of dress and presentation.
Fluent level of English and eligible to work in Ireland.
Valid Driving License.
