Cloud Engineer - Technical Lead - Dublin Atrium EMEA are looking for an accomplished Cloud Engineer/Technical Lead with experience of leveraging AI tools for build and execution productivity gains.
You must have extensive experience of Azure Cloud Ecosystem.
The Cloud Engineer/Technical Lead will be responsible for leading the technical delivery and ongoing management of an Azure-based Business Intelligence product.
This role focuses on the design, development, implementation, and support of cloud-hosted analytical solutions that leverage data-driven insights.
The Cloud Engineer/Technical Lead should bring strong experience applying AI technologies within day-to-day development activities and will demonstrate a solid understanding of data-centric products and compute options within the public cloud ecosystem.
Essential: Prior experience in a Technical leading/Team leading role Strong software product development experience on a public cloud ecosystem (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery and enhance engineering efficiency.
Extensive hands-on experience developing Cloud solutions which demonstrate a strong understanding of software engineering principles Experience with REST/ JSON APIs, Java, Microservices, Containerization (Images, Docker)Excellent knowledge of a Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) Services such as – Paa S, Faa S, Workflow orchestrators, Service Principal, Containers, Secret management etc.
Experience of Ia C using tools such as Terraform.
Strong programming experience with two or more languages (e.g Python, Java) and scripting for automation (e.g., Bash, Power Shell).
Experience of hands-on utilization of SQL with large data volumes.
Understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
Hands on experience of securing cloud applications.
Knowledge of data pipelines with an awareness on the importance of fault tolerance within the pipelines.
Experience in using modern software engineering tooling (Jenkins, GHA, Sonar, Twist-Lock or alternatives etc.) and process in terms of Agile delivery in a CI/CD work environment.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Experience with databases, data warehousing, and big data technologies (e.g., Databricks, Spark, DBT).
