**Job Title:** Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing budgets and forecasts, and developing financial models. They will also partner with key stakeholders to identify productivity opportunities and drive financial performance.
In addition, the specialist will oversee site cycle counting programs, maintain harmonized costing procedures, and perform monthly COGS analysis.
* Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparation of financial budgets and forecasts, review actual costs vs budget, and allocate labour and overhead to production costs.
* Financial Analysis: Prepare monthly reporting packs with astute commentary, analysis, and identified actions.
* Cost Control: Drive cost centre owners to deliver actual spend under budgets, assist in implementation of solutions that fuel growth and profitability, and monitor BOMs, Routings, and material master data for accuracy.
* Inventory Management: Maintain and follow harmonized costing procedures; evaluate yields, scrap, and manufacturing variances on a monthly basis.
* Capital Cost Controlling: Report actual spend, committed spend, and forecast to complete against budgets, provide timely and accurate data in support of cashflow management processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* 5+ years of progressive experience within a manufacturing environment performing duties within FP&A, product costing, general ledger, and operational analyses.
* Strong working knowledge of SAP FICO is essential.
* Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with working knowledge of Power BI and Hyperion systems an advantage.
* A degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance (or other relevant/equivalent qualification) is essential.
* Qualified ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA (or other relevant/equivalent qualification) is essential.
