Key Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-presented environment throughout the nursing home
* Carrying out general maintenance and minor repair works (e.g. fixtures, fittings, basic plumbing, painting)
* Supporting the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment
* Ensuring all maintenance tasks are completed in line with health and safety standards
* Reporting maintenance issues, hazards, or defects promptly to management
* Assisting with room set-ups, furniture movement, and general duties as required
* Working cooperatively with nursing, housekeeping, and management teams
* Carrying out any other reasonable duties as assigned by management
The Ideal Candidate
* Reliable, practical, and hands-on
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Good awareness of health and safety practices
* Organised, flexible, and proactive
* Previous maintenance experience desirable (but not essential)
