- including a major student information system (SITS) and a range of integrated HR, Finance, Research, Library and Identity systems.This role combines people leadership with hands-on solution design, technical analysis and continuous improvement across a busy change pipeline.Key Responsibilities: Lead, mentor and develop a team of systems/business analysts.Own end-to-end solution design: requirements, analysis, configuration, documentation, testing and sign-off.Oversee ongoing configuration and optimisation of the SITS student system.Define and maintain best practices for enterprise applications, integrations and automation (e.g., Power Apps).Partner closely with stakeholders, project teams and vendors to deliver secure, scalable, future-proof solutions.Prioritise workloads, manage a large solutions portfolio and ensure strong governance, standards and documentation.Support upgrades, regression testing and lifecycle activities across key university systems.Ideal Background Strong leadership experience within application design, business analysis or enterprise systems.Proven track record delivering complex solutions in highly integrated environments.Expertise with student information systems (SITS) or similar large-scale platforms is a major advantage.Skilled in requirements gathering, system configuration, testing and solution governance.Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders in a structured IT environment.Requirements IT-related degree.Strong SQL Server, SSIS, T-SQL and Oracle PL/SQL skills.Solid experience across the full solutions lifecycle, requirements, testing and delivery.Strong integration/API knowledge and enterprise system configuration experience (incl.SITS ideal).Skilled with Power Apps, Excel and tools like Azure Dev Ops.5+ years in enterprise/business systems design at a managerial level.Excellent communication, analysis and problem-solving skills.Quality-focused, collaborative, customer-oriented and flexible.
