Job Title: Cook/Chef

Employment Type: Part-time (2 days a week, with additional cover for annual leave as needed)
Job Overview:
Cahercalla Community Care is seeking a skilled and reliable Cook/Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will prepare high-quality meals in a safe and hygienic environment, ensuring compliance with HACCP standards. This is a part-time role with a regular schedule of two days per week, plus occasional cover for annual leave.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook meals to a high standard, catering to the needs of residents and staff.
• Ensure all food preparation and storage complies with HACCP and food safety regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan menus and manage stock.
• Adhere to dietary requirements and preferences of residents.
• Assist with kitchen duties as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience as a Cook or Chef in a similar role.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Working Hours:
• Regular schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (2 days per week).
• Flexibility to cover additional shifts during annual leave.
