Position Description:
Hanley Energy is seeking a Strategic Procurement Administration Specialist to join the Global Strategic Procurement Team. In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Global Strategic Procurement Team in ensuring that all associated Administration & Strategic Souring Data Analysis is complete, accurate and up to date.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Global Strategic Procurement Team in ensuring that all associated administration is complete, accurate and up to date.
* Ensure Supplier records are complete and correctly filed including NDA’s, Contracts, Supplier Application Forms etc. Manage and organize procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier correspondence.
* Assist in the execution of Procurement and Sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials for the Global business
* Assist the Global Head of Strategic Procurement in Administration and Data Analysis associated with the Global Procurement Policy.
* Maintain and update master data, including supplier pricing, lead times, MOQ, commodity codes, and product specifications.
* Set up new HE codes as required for new products. Maintain HE codes as necessary.

* Working with the Procurement Specialists, liaise with suppliers as required to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and confirm deliveries in alignment with project timelines, find an alternative for the existing where appropriate and all related admin work.
* Support the Strategic Procurement Team in supplier evaluation, selection, and performance tracking.
* Generate, analyse, and present sourcing reports, spend data, and cost-saving initiatives as required.
* Follow up with the Suppliers for the Prototypes of any new product development as required.
* Maintain HE codes and accurate pricing files.
* Assist in organising supplier visits, arrangements, facilities and amenities for meetings and associated travel when required.
* Assist with indirect suppliers, and the Indirect Procurement Specialist including with Fleet and Travel from time to time.
Requirements:
* A procurement or supply chain qualification, and/or an engineering qualification.
* 2+ years of experience in a procurement.
* Whilst not essential, expertise in manufacturing, BOM’s, industrial electrical control panels or switchgear is preferred.
* Good understanding of procurement principles, procedures and administration.
* Excellent administration skills and attention to detail.
* Strong Excel and IT skills
* Helpful, friendly and willing to be agile and flexible to various requirements.
* Experience in computer-based MRP systems, particularly SAP, would be an advantage
* Excellent organizational, communication, and influencing skills
Location: Based at our global head office in Stamullen, Co. Meath, Hanley Energy have hybrid remote working, which will be agreed with your line manager. Initially the role will be expected in the office over 80% of the time, with 60% in the office after the initial 3 months subject to operational requirements.
