Site Manager Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a major Solar PV construction project in Wexford, Ireland.
About the Role
This is a crucial position that requires strong leadership and management skills, as well as expertise in project coordination, timeline adherence, budget management, supervision, training, conflict resolution, health & safety compliance, risk management, stakeholder communication, problem-solving, quality control, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Project Management: Coordinate and manage all on-site activities, ensuring the project is executed according to plan, including scheduling, resource allocation, and task delegation.
* Timeline Adherence: Ensure the project remains on schedule, meeting all critical deadlines and milestones.
* Budget Management: Monitor project expenditures to stay within budget, making cost-effective decisions without compromising quality.
* Supervision: Lead a team of professionals, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring effective collaboration and productivity.
* Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
* Conflict Resolution: Address any conflicts or issues that arise, maintaining a harmonious and efficient working environment.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring all site activities comply with legal and company standards.
* Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement measures to mitigate them, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
* Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and regular communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, engineers, and senior management.
* Problem-Solving: Address any issues or concerns raised by stakeholders promptly and effectively.
* Quality Control: Inspect work to ensure it meets specified quality standards and contractual requirements. Maintain comprehensive records of all inspections, audits, and quality checks.
