We are looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team to manage our core accounting operations such as accounts payables, payroll as well as supporting month end & quarter end reporting. The successful candidate will be expected to ensure effective day to day execution of the function whilst supporting with scaling it in line with growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
* Accounts Payable involving the processing and payment of high volumes of supplier Invoicing & Statements.
* Reconciliation of Invoices against PO's & Payment Certs
* Ensure compliance with PRSI, PAYE, VAT, and RCT requirements, incl. management of expenses for wage roll
* Processing of Weekly & Monthly wages inhouse
* Necessary Bank Reconciliations
* Preparation of the month end & quarterly processes
* Managing Supplier related contacts
* Support project-related administrative tasks, such as tracking project expenses & reporting.
* Maintain accurate records of all expenses
* Identify & implement any necessary process improvements of accounting operations functions
* Support the implementation of business process simplifications if required.
* Other ad hoc tasks that will arise from time to time
Skills Required:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar)
* Minimum 5 years' + experience in a busy office environment having dealt with high volumes of accounts payable transactions
* Ability to communicate financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders
* Demonstrable experience in payroll processing
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Experience in managing change, implementing new procedures and re-engineering processes.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on own initiative.
* Strong computer skills including Word, Excel & Accounting software.
