We are Hiring a Clinical Nurse Specialist - Oncology for our Hospital client in Dublin.
Responsibilities Assessing, diagnosing, and managing the symptoms and side effects associated with cancer treatment Providing comprehensive care to patients undergoing chemotherapy, radiation, or other cancer treatments Educating patients and families about the disease process, treatment options, and possible side effects Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to devise individualized care plans for patients Conducting research to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of oncology nursing Providing consultation to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals about complex patient care issues Ensuring that cancer care is delivered in a safe and effective manner, in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards Advocating for the needs of cancer patients and their families, providing emotional support and counseling services Requirements NMBI registration (essential) Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent in Oncology Nursing (essential) Master's degree in Oncology Nursing (desirable) Minimum of 3 years' experience in medical oncology (essential) Proven clinical and professional ability Strong IT skills with proficiency in relevant applications Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently Strong communication and leadership skills with a positive approach to engaging patients and staff Enthusiastic, highly motivated, and able to work under pressure Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development Ability to work effectively with staff at all levels within the organisation Benefits Employee Assistance Program Learning and Development Support.
