Data Architecture and Integrations Strategist
This is a high-level leadership position responsible for driving the organisation's enterprise data architecture and integrations strategy.
As a key member of our digital and technology function, you will lead a skilled team of data professionals and manage modern integration platforms to help the organisation become more data-informed, innovative, and prepared for AI adoption.
This role offers the opportunity to define and lead the enterprise data strategy and target-state architecture, develop scalable, secure cloud-based data platforms, and establish enterprise data models, metadata standards, integration patterns, and architecture governance.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to deliver practical, value-aligned data solutions that enable analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives through robust data modelling and infrastructure.
We are seeking an experienced data professional with expertise in integration platforms, enterprise data architecture design, and cloud technologies. Strong knowledge of APIs and modern data paradigms is also required.
* Degree (NFQ Level 7 or above) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 5 years experience in enterprise data architecture, systems integration, or similar roles within complex organisations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and lead the enterprise data strategy and target-state architecture.
2. Develop scalable, secure cloud-based data platforms to support innovation, AI, and advanced analytics.
3. Establish and maintain enterprise data models, metadata standards, integration patterns, and architecture governance.
4. Manage and evolve middleware and integration solutions to ensure seamless, secure system interoperability.
5. Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver practical, value-aligned data solutions.
6. Enable analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives through robust data modelling and infrastructure.
7. Lead and mentor a high-performing data team, promoting collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
8. Represent the digital and technology function in organisation-wide programmes and external data communities.
