Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Biotech Associate. This role involves working in a self-directed shift team to deliver batch operations, resolve issues, and support quality, EHS, learning, and continuous improvement cultures.
Responsibilities:
* Produce biologic drug substances on designated shifts, including equipment preparation, operation, and monitoring, as well as tasks like cleaning, validation, and in-process testing.
* Progress automated recipes using paperless technology to generate drug substances through inoculation, cell culturing, filtration, and purification.
* Set up single-use equipment between runs, operate according to GMP and EHS standards, and optimize processes using standard work and lean techniques.
* Focus on patient delivery, safety, quality, and team engagement and development.
Work Experience:
* Science qualification in a technical, engineering, or science-based discipline or equivalent.
* 0 to 3 years of experience in biotech or pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical environment.
* Knowledge of biologic drug substance production is advantageous.
* Ability to work in a team and independently, proactively and logically under pressure.
* Flexible and self-motivated.
