Join a leading Irish DIY/Homeware retailer as an Assistant Manager in multiple locations such as Ashbourne and Clane.
Our client is a home-grown brand renowned for outstanding customer service and a wide selection of high-quality products. As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a motivated individuals to support their store operations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Store Manager with daily operations and ensure the smooth running of the store.
* Supervise staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
* Manage inventory, including stock control and ordering.
* Ensure exceptional customer service and handle any issues or complaints effectively.
* Implement and maintain store policies, ensuring compliance with company standards.
* Monitor sales performance and contribute to achieving sales targets.
* Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the store.
* Plan and execute promotional activities to drive sales.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in retail, ideally in a supervisory or assistant manager role.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Good organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
* A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
