About the Role:
This role involves working with children aged 3 to 6 years, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement tailored education plans to meet each child's unique needs.
* Create a warm and nurturing atmosphere where children feel safe and supported.
* Work collaboratively with our Behaviour Support Team to develop and implement intervention strategies.
* Support children's communication and social skills development through play-based activities and interactive learning sessions.
* Teach essential life skills to promote independence in daily activities.
* Assist the Head Teacher in maintaining a well-organized and engaging classroom environment.
* Pursue ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in special needs education.
Requirements:
* A Level 8 or 9 degree in a relevant field such as Education, Psychology, or Social Care.
* Eligibility for registration with the Teaching Council of Ireland (Further Education Section).
