About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity for an associate to join our Corporate and Commercial Team in Cork. The team includes highly regarded corporate and commercial lawyers across our Cork, Dublin, and Galway offices. We focus on delivering commercial solutions to our clients' legal issues and take pride in our work.
Our corporate team advises on all areas of corporate and commercial law, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, corporate governance, reorganisations, and joint ventures. We collaborate with other specialist units within the firm to provide coordinated legal advice on tax, employment, commercial property, regulatory, and restructuring matters.
This is a full-time permanent role with hybrid working and flexible arrangements.
Background and experience:
Applicants should have a minimum of 5 years of general corporate experience from a leading Irish or international law firm.
Key Skills Required:
* Commercially astute with strong business sense
* Experience working both independently and as part of a team, with a broad range of corporate and transactional matters including mergers and acquisitions
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage client relationships effectively
* Proven ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
* Strong academic credentials
* Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience
