In partnership with B Braun, we are seeking a dedicated IT & Digitalization Support Specialist for our Ireland office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure seamless operation of IT systems, empowering employees to perform their jobs effectively and driving business success.
* Support the adoption of advanced digital tools and methods to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and competitiveness in a rapidly changing landscape.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate technologies into operating workflows, training staff to adapt to new tools and systems.
* Guide the organization through the complexities of digital transformation, positioning B Braun for ongoing success.
* Partner with stakeholders to align IT initiatives with business goals, leveraging Intelligent Enterprise and SAP version (S/4HANA).
* Business Partner with stakeholders to ensure IT initiatives align with business objectives.
* Oversee IT user experiences across all sites, reporting on performance metrics and resolving technical challenges to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
* Manage IT support with external vendors, ensuring timely response and issue resolution, and maintaining high service availability.
* Optimize the use of external resources to maximize value for the organization.
* Cultivate local IT projects in sync with global IT strategy, ensuring alignment and effectiveness.
* Maintain and upgrade country IT environment according to corporate IT strategy.
* Manage the IT budget, allocate resources efficiently, and make informed decisions about technology investments.
* Provide training and technical expertise to business colleagues as required.
* Serve as a business relationship manager with Global/Regional IT, providing feedback on local activities and advances.
* Ensure compliance with corporate IT policies, safeguarding the security and integrity of IT systems and data.
* Liaise with global IT Shared Services to ensure optimal service performance.
* Maintain inventory of all IT hardware/software and document IT processes.
* Manage the lifecycle of office IT equipment, including planning, ordering, installing, configuring, delivering, refreshing, exchanging, deleting, and disposing of workplace and meeting room equipment, following global processes.
Requirements
* Develop strong relationships with multiple stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and uncertainty.
* Identify problems, opportunities, and ideate/create ideas to improve existing work methods and workflows.
* Work independently, deliver targets, and meet deadlines in a regulated medical environment.
* Communicate complex issues effectively, verbally and in writing.
* Demonstrate ability to manage budgets, deadlines, and expectations.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in delivering IT/Digitalization projects.
* Knowledge of GenAI and act as a local ambassador to drive the adoption of global AI solutions/services in the local organization.
* Familiarity with SAP environment is desirable.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
* Experience in IT infrastructure, cloud, and digital transformations.
