Contract Role: Software Engineering Manager
Type: Contract (6 months, likely to go long term)
About the Role
In this role, you’ll work closely with the CTO and take the reins of an established team.
You'll be instrumental in implementing structured delivery processes, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring high-quality product outcomes. This is a hands-on leadership position where your ability to manage complexity, communicate with clarity, and deliver results will directly shape the future success of the business.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage software delivery teams across platforms
* Establish robust delivery frameworks and improve team structure
* Own delivery timelines, ensuring complex features and integrations are rolled out successfully
* Work closely with stakeholders across product, architecture, and engineering
* Drive continuous improvement in delivery processes and team performance
* Help integrate features into a cloud-based system
* Manage change effectively while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
* Collaborate on innovative projects, including opportunities with emerging technologies like AI
Requirements
* Minimum 7 years of experience in software delivery roles
* Proven track record in Agile environments with strong stakeholder management skills
* Background in delivering high-quality software and customer-facing products
* Experienced in leading teams and improving delivery structures
* Excellent communication, leadership, and change management skills
* Familiarity with PMR (Patient Medication Record) systems is a plus
